Module 5

I really enjoy YouTube and iTunes and use both in the classroom and with large groups of students. Our school has had podcast demonstrations and this is a great opportunity to put it all together.
As part of a promotional tool for senior modern history at our school I put together a visual pod cast, which used voice over, music and still images. It was fun and a good way to share information. I am yet to try a vodcast - but that may be next on the list, or the students may be assigned this activity.
Youtube is a great source and I have used clips on many occasions in Modern History and Studies of Religion. Often the clip gets straight to the point and wastes little time. There are some wonderful prayers and reflections also in YouTube. Teacher Tube looks just as good to use also.
This aspect of the course Web 2.0 is probably my favourite so far.
